Quality Engineer- Medical Device Manufacturing

Global leader in the development and production of medical devices seeks a quality engineer at its flagship manufacturing site near Greenville, SC.  This progressive company offers great career growth opportunities across its many divisions, both domestic and international.  The Quality Engineer will participate in the quality engineering functions within the manufacturing site by helping to  develop, implement and administer quality specifications, test methodologies, and sampling plans for product and processes.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree;  CANDIDATES LACKING A FOUR YEAR DEGREE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
  • 3 to 5 years experience in Quality Assurance  in medical device manufacturing.
  • ALL CANDIDATES MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A HIGH VOLUME, FAST PACED MANUFACTURING ENVIRONMENT.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Statistical knowledge.
  • Must be well organizational and able to prioritize.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer preferred.

Resume Tips

  5. Be specific when describing your experience.
  6. When listing accomplishments on a resume include the results: how did you save the company time or money.
  7. Don’t worry too much about length. Each position should include a brief description of the company, job, and at least 2-3 accomplishments.
  8. Proofread!
  9. Do not lie on your resume!
  10. Use a font that is easy to read.
  11. Be concise and clear.
  12. Use bullets for accomplishments.
  13. Do not include personal information like date of birth, marriage status or pictures.
  14. Write in the first person but remove the “I” from your statements.
