Principal Engineer and Sr. Engineer
Medical Device Product Development

Large global medical products company with expanding R&D group is looking for several R&D engineers to work on product development projects in R&D group. This would include design, prototyping and testing designs for new products and changes to existing product lines. Products would be designed for high volume manufacturing and assembly including plastics, rubber, glass, metal and packaging materials.
The ideal candidate would have a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering and 3-10 years experience in development of medical devices or medical disposables designed for high volume manufacturing. This candidate must have experience in developing and prototyping designs for technical and customer evaluations and be well versed in GMP guidelines, FDA regulations, medical device design control and manufacturing scale up for high volume manufacturing.

- Read the job description and tailor your resume to feature your skills as they relate to the job.
- Focus on accomplishments rather than activities.
- Be specific when describing your experience.
- When listing accomplishments on a resume include the results: how did you save the company time or money.
- Don’t worry too much about length. Each position should include a brief description of the company, job, and at least 2-3 accomplishments.
- Proofread!
- Do not lie on your resume!
- Use a font that is easy to read.
- Be concise and clear.
- Use bullets for accomplishments.
- Do not include personal information like date of birth, marriage status or pictures.
- Write in the first person but remove the “I” from your statements.
- Use an active voice — it is more effective making you the subject of your statements rather than the object.
