R&D Director, Electronic Medical Device Product Development

Industry leader and highly respected global medical devices company seeks a Director of R&D to build new product development teams and manage teams working on existing product lines. Candidates should have extensive experience driving the development of medical device systems that generate radiofrequency or RF energy. All candidates should have a strong track record of leadership in a highly matrixed environment.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering, advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in the medical device industry
- Experience in design, and development through commercialization of radio frequency or RF generated medical devices
- Experience managing cross functional teams in the development of medical devices
- Hiring, and management of an electro-mechanical technical team
- Experience developing medical devices that include hardware, software and disposables
- Experience with large scale tech transfer from one facility to another

- Don’t worry too much about length. Each position should include a brief description of the company, job, and at least 2-3 accomplishments.

- Use a font that is easy to read.
- Be concise and clear.
- Use bullets for accomplishments.
- Do not include personal information like date of birth, marriage status or pictures.
- Write in the first person but remove the “I” from your statements.
- Use an active voice — it is more effective making you the subject of your statements rather than the object.
