Systems Service Engineer, Medical Device Manufacturing

Global leader in the development and production of electromechanical medical devices seeks a Systems Service Engineer to provide hardware service and support for health care devices. This person will handle start up and then manage a service lab, investigating, maintaining and repairing products. The Systems Service Engineer will develop service protocol and maintain and update device history records, develop protocol for improving work flow and manage projects related to the service lab.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or biomedical engineering or related discipline
- 3+ years experience in the medical device industry
- Experience in design, development, troubleshooting and repair of electromechanical medical device systems
- Experience setting up electromechanical repair services preferred
- The ability to travel up to 40% for the first 6-9 months, thereafter travel approximately 10%
- IQ OQ experience with ISO 13485
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written
