Global leader in the development of life saving pharmaceuticals seeks a Site Director to oversee all manufacturing operations at the company's flagship site near Oneonta, NY. This highly regarded company offers excellent career growth opportunities across its many divisions, both domestic and international. The Site Director will have full site responsibilities overseeing engineering, quality, HR, safety, and production. This plant has approximately 650 employees and produces 200+ SKUs. It is a highly automated, 24-7 facility. Candidates without pharmaceutical industry experience will not be considered.


Job Requirements

Progressive, documented career success in pharmaceutical manufacturing
10+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing which includes operations running multiple products, manufacturing and product lines
5+ years experience with full site P&L leadership of a large pharmaceutical manufacturing site
Bachelor's degree, preferably in chemical or mechanical engineering
Documented successes in leadership of Lean methodology and Lean driven improvement

  6. When listing accomplishments on a resume include the results: how did you save the company time or money.
  7. Don’t worry too much about length. Each position should include a brief description of the company, job, and at least 2-3 accomplishments.
  8. Proofread!
  9. Do not lie on your resume!
  10. Use a font that is easy to read.
  11. Be concise and clear.
  12. Use bullets for accomplishments.
  13. Do not include personal information like date of birth, marriage status or pictures.
  14. Write in the first person but remove the “I” from your statements.
