Great Quality Director with Global Pharmaceutical Leader!
Global leader in the development and production of liquid, sterile fill pharmaceuticals seeks a QA Director to lead all quality activities of a dosage pharmaceutical manufacturing site near St. Louis, MO. The Director of Quality Assurance will:
• Lead a large QA/QC group, developing and maintaining quality assurance programs for a highly sophisticated manufacturing program.
• Manage all site Quality Assurance, Quality Control and validation functions
• Supervise departmental personnel directly and through subordinate managers and/or supervisors
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in chemistry, or physical science; advanced degree preferred
• 10+ years of QA/QC experience in finished pharmaceutical manufacturing
• QA/QC experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• 5+ years experience in a supervisory role; experience managing large matrixed QA/QC groups
• Strong knowledge of cGMP requirements.
• Extensive progressive experience developing and maintaining quality systems
• Experience utilizing Six Sigma - Lean methodology, certification preferred;
• Thorough understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards for testing performed in all QC laboratories.
• Expertise in the manufacture and control of finished products, analytical analysis techniques and statistical quality control.
• Strong working knowledge of FDA and EU requirements and USP testing guidelines. Background should include analytical method validation work
