Packaging Engineer, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Great Packaging EngineerOpportunity with Global Pharmaceutical Leader!
This person will lead the development, design, validation and project management of packaging projects, to include new packaging designs, material conversion, cost reductions, packaging equipment procurement lifecycle and Quality and Regulatory compliance. Provide expertise to other manufacturing facilities to evaluate current and new processes utilizing Six Sigma methods and tools. This expertise would include troubleshooting, upgrade recommendations, and quotes for new equipment. Provide Form Fill Seal (FFS) expertise as required to manufacturing facilities. Travel (30 – 50%) will be required to including international travel.
Requirements :
Bachelor of Science in Packaging Science, Mechanical Engineering or other Engineering discipline.
A minimum of 8 years experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or related industry.
Proficient in Six-Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and TQM methodologies.
FFS expertise, Multivac, Hooper etc.
Highly developed project management skills to include formalized methodologies, written and verbal communication skills, and strong business acumen. Proven leadership skills and ability to manage complex projects and problem solving activities.
